Congrats Karim!
Yesterday Karim successfully defended his Master thesis entitled Superconducting flux transformers for the modulation of flux-tunable resonators. Congrats and well deserved!
Karim will stay with us for some months as a research engineer to support our fab efforts in the maglev experiment.
A simple superconducting flip-chip
We have developed a simple superconducting flip-chip for our maglev experiment. Interested, have a look here.
Great work by the maglev team: Achintya, Paul, Karim, and Fabian!
Graphite flake levitates: succesful highschool student project
We hosted a one-week long high school student project. The goal of this small-scale project was to set up a simple experiment to levitate a graphite flake.
Voila! Now, it levitates. Great work from Fabian who supervised the student!
