Feodor Lynen fellowships are awarded to excellent PostDoctoral candidates that are based in Germany who want to pursue a research project outside of Germany. They are awarded by the Alexander von Humboldt foundation. Witlef can now act as a host for these fellowships. If you are interested, just contact Witlef.

Identifying single photon emitters in hBN
When you need a library of signatures of potential single photon emitters in hBN have a look here. This is recent theory work lead by C. Linderälv and P. Erhart that was just published in Phys. Rev. B 103, 115421 (2021).
Coming closer to single photon quantum cooperativity
Our paper on Cavity optomechanics with photonic bound states in the continuum has been published in Phys. Rev. Research. This theory proposal brings optomechanics into the regime of single photon quantum cooperativity. Thanks to the fantastic collaboration with Jamie and Philippe!
Let it get cold…
We have successfully installed our dilution refrigerator last week, which was great fun. First cooldown done! Many more to come …
KAW short article about our research
The Knut and Alice Wallenberg foundation has a short article about our research on macroscopic quantum physics on their website: in English and in Swedish.
